I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others (Genesis 12:2).

This promise is fulfilled in Christ (Galatians 3:24). Hallelujah! We are blessed! Even more than that, we are blessed to be a blessing! It’s a life of abundance! But for us to live in this blessing or to be a blessing, we must recognize the source of the Blessing. The earth and its fullness belong to God. He owns it all! In His love, He made us stewards over them all. God’s blessing should not be confused with materialism.

The blessing is spiritual and therefore higher and richer than materialism. Materialism considers material possessions and physical comfort as more important than spiritual values.

The blessed life blesses others!

When we recognize God as our source, when we acknowledge that everything we have is God’s; when we are good stewards of what He has given us and we obey His instructions of giving -in offering, in tithes and generosity/liberalism towards others, we will experience His supernatural power for abundance and His blessing for the more than enough!

Hallelujah
